Yummy Appetizer – Jay’s Shrimp Dip

Linda sent us this recipe for Easter!  But, this is certainly an appetizer that would delight your family this Christmas Eve!  Thanks again, Linda Cook Courtney.  May you have a joyful Christmas.

Are you looking for an easy but yummy appetizer to kick off  your family dinner?

This great appetizer recipe was submitted by Linda Cook Courtney.

Linda and her husband, Jay,  live in Indiana and enjoy healthy eating and easy entertaining. They love getting together with their 5-generation family, from Linda’s 103-year-old Great Aunt Hazel to their two young grandsons.

Jay’s Shrimp Dip is a favorite appetizer when friends and family gather.

Jay’s Shrimp Dip

1 can undiluted Tomato Soup
1 envelope plain gelatin
12 oz. cream cheese
HEAT FIRST 3 INGREDIENTS SLOWLY IN SAUCEPAN, STIRRING UNTIL MIXED AND MELTED. LET COOL AND ADD:
3/4 c. chopped celery
3/4 c. green onions
12 oz. cooked baby shrimp, or cooked chopped shrimp
1 c. mayonnaise
STIR AND CHILL IN SERVING BOWL. MAKES ABOUT 3 CUPS. SERVE WITH CRACKERS.
