Sometimes, the summer reading lists for kids is just overwhelming. This list is outstanding. It keeps the kids reading (the primary goal so they won’t loose skilll) and they can have fun too. The creator of the list, Melissa Taylor, calls them Addictive Reading Lists. She has had years of working with Scholastic, so we can trust her as an expert when it comes to what kids love.
A quick trip to the library, and a grandma could have a few of these choices available when the kids spend a last day or two at the house.
Of all the lists I have seen lately, this one seems to be the best. So, please visit this lady–an expert in education –and take a peek at their list for preschoolers through highschool. A quick trip to the library and you can make the last month of vacation not only a good time to practice skills, but a great time to bond with your kids over books.
