We welcome Lillian Penner to our blog today.  Her topic Make Your Life Significant is important to all of us.

Lillian Ann Penner is the author ofGrandparenting with a Purpose: Effective Ways to Pray for your Grandchildren, speaker, National Prayer Coordinator for Christian Grandparenting Network, directing the Grandparents@Prayer groups. She and her husband, John, have been married over 50 years and currently reside in Portland, OR. They have three married sons and nine grandchildren, who are the love of their life.

I first became acquainted with Lillian last summer as she was working on the National Day of Prayer for Grandchildren. I have been encouraged by her wisdom and devotion to prayer.   Thank you, Lillian, for sharing your thoughts on Making Life Significant.

Make Your Life Significant

When I was a young woman, I had many opportunities to visit my widowed grandmother while I attended college in her town. As she grieved my grandfather’s death, she reflected her trust in God to care for her and showed how God sustained her each day, by claiming the promise Jesus gave His disciples after His resurrection. “Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world” Matthew 28:20 (KJV).     The American Grandma is a little vanilla. You might glance
    at Yahoo’s home page and note how they create article titles to grab viewers
    to click. You might add a video or a related pic or two to grab people interested about everything’ve written. Just my opinion, it might bring your posts a little bit more interesting.
