It seems there is a national day of something every day of the week!  But, I was glad to see National Nutella Day. Nutella is a wonderful product and our kids and grandkids love it a lot.  When we lived in France, it was a substitute for peanut butter.  Now, we occasionally use it as a spread for crepes.

Nutella is made from hazelnuts and chocolate and can be used in a variety of recipes.  If you go to Pinterest you can see the interesting ways people are using Nutella in cookies, cakes and even hot chocolate.

The picture at the top of the page comes from Marin Devine and is a recipe for Nutella fudge.

Enjoy National Nutella Day.  You might enjoy the nutty flavor of this spread.
