The Candle in the Window

Grace Johnson

Last year, I discovered Christmas Day In The Morning by Pearl S Buck.  I was amazed that I had never come across this children’s book in the past. I look forward to reading it with one of our grandchildren this Christmas.

I would like to recommend another Christmas book to you for your children’s library, The Candle In The Window.  It was inspired by Leo Tolstoy’s story, Where Love Is, God Is.

In this beautifully illustrated children’s book, a lonely cobbler finds the true meaning of Christmas as he learns to serve others.  It is a heartwarming book that can lead to many spiritual conversations.

What are you reading to your grandkids this Christmas?

Find this book on Amazon.  Lovely gift.

For water skiers, the long summers and short winters provide almost year-round
opportunity to hit the water. Areas such as corners, steps,
and ladders are no longer an issue.
